Students seeking admission for Std. XII will have to seek fresh admission. In this connection the parents must give in writing at the time of admission an undertaking that they will check and take responsible action regarding their daughter's / ward's behavior, attendance and progress. Once admission taken, the fees will not be refunded under any circumstances.
Students must be present inside the college premises at least 10 minutes before the 1st beII. The college gate will be closed with the 1st bell at 8.20 a.m. The daily prayer will be held in the hall sharp 8.25 a.m. Latecomers are liable to be sent home.
It is strictly compulsory for every student to come to college in full uniform and not to change uniform in the School/College premises. They should have with them their Identity Card.
Girls are not allowed to wear sleeveless or short dress (during any occasion.) No slippers and fancy jewellery will be allowed. Hair style should simple.
The college will insist on strict punctuality, regular college attendance, cleanliness in dress, general grooming and fidelity to study and work assignments. Absence from school 1or merely social functions will be strongly discouraged.
Students failing short of the required number of days in attendance, i.e. 75% attendance in each term will not be allowed to appear for the respective examination.
Attendance at College functions such as Independence Day, Republic Day, School/College Feast, Teacher's Day. Sports Day etc. is very essential.
Absence without permission from the Principal, even for one lecture tent to amounts to absence for the whoIe day.
Whenever a student is absent from the class, a note of absence should be recorded in the calendar and duly signed by the Parent.
If students for, unexplained reasons, have been absent from College for more than a month, their names will be struck off from roll and as a rule they are not to be re admitted.
Irregular attendance, habitual want of application, obscenity in word or actions, improper dressing not encouraged insubordination to teachers, any kind of cheating or serious misconduct even outside the college premises or behavior objectionable to the good tone of the institution are sufficient reasons for the dismissal of students.
Any damage done to the College or about the premises will have to be made good. The decision of the Principal regarding the amount to be paid will be final.
Although every care will be taken of the pupil's property the college authority will not be responsible for any theft or loss of true same. Students are advised not to bring valuable articles to the college. Pupils are responsible for the safe custody of their books and belongings.
MobiIes and other electronic goods are strictly prohibited in the college premises and classrooms. If found they will be confiscated and students will be fined.
Students are forbidden to give presents to their teachers either individually or collectively. Collections for any purpose whatever required the Principal's sanction and all accounts of the same must be handed over to the Principal.
Parents and guardians are expected to examine daily the Calendar of their children / wards for any remarks or reports regarding their contact & studies that may be made therein either by the Teacher or Principal.
Any Communication from the parents should be addressed to the Principal and not to the Class Teacher and all correspondence from the college to the parents or guardian must go through the Principal.
Parents o Guardian are not allowed to see children/wards or interview teachers during class hours without the previous consent of the Principal. As a rule teachers should be interviewed by previous appointment.
Pupils may not be sent home by anybody or leave the college premises during college time which includes the short recess without previous sanction of the Principal and without a written permission from the parents.
Speaking English is compulsory on within the college premises.
Two wheelers are not allowed to park inside the premises.
Government of maharashtra has notified ragging a cognizable offence, anyone reported to be involved in any form of ragging will be severely dealt with. Therefore, students are required to restrain from indulging in any form of ragging.
In case of loss of identity card or fee receipt, Rs. 100/- shall be charged as duplication charges and student must acquire the same immediately.
Attendance is compulsory on Orientation and Open Days for Parents.
Heads of Colleges should see the following principles of discipline are observed
When the students go for P. T. or move along the corridor to the Library. Computer Room, Science Laboratory and Auditorium and when changing classes they must walk in silence.
Pupils are expected to come to college provided with all that is necessary for their day's work.
Student should always carry their valid college identity card whenever in college or representing the college at any other place. Further, it should be produced whenever demanded by any other College staff.
No leave of absence is granted, except on previous written application from parents or guardians and only for valid reasons.
However, in case of illness, or other unavoidable circumstances, where previous permission could not be obtained the pupil on returning to college must bring a nota signed by the parents or guardians stating the reason for her absence on the special page provided in the calendar. In case of illness a medical certificate is essential.
If a student remains absent without leave note for more than 15 days, her name is liable to be removed mom the college roll.
Students will not be sent home in an emergency with any one who might come for them during college hours without a written request from parents or guardians.
During college hours no student is allowed to leave the classroom without the permission of the teacher/lecturer or until the class is dismissed.
Non-Catholics will be allowed sectional religious holidays, only on previous written application from their parents.
No students suffering from contagious or infectious disease shall be permitted to attend the college.
Pupiłs are expected to be present on the closing day of each term and on the opening day after every long vacation.
Withdrawal of your child from classes for mere social functions is not recommended as it retards the child's progress the college and minimizes her devotion for regular hard work with consequent failure to progress in her studies.
No student can be admitted to the college without a valid Leaving Certificate from the last School / college attended by her, An unsatisfactory remark in a Leaving Certificate may invalidate the admission. If pupil comes from outside Maharashtra, the Education Officer of that place must countersign the Leaving Certificate.
A calendar month's notice is to be given in the college office before the withdrawal of a student by the parent or guardian in the form attached at the end of the calendar.
No Leaving Certificate will be given unless all college dues are paid.
No certificate of any kind will be given without a written application from the parent or guardian. This appIication should be handed over in the college office at least 3 days before the date on which the certificate is required.
A fee of Rs. 50/- will be charged for the Leaving Certificates and Rs. 10/- for an extract the Birth Certificate or General Register.
Student who desires to discontinue studies should take their, Leaving Certificate immediately. A fee will be charged if a certificate is charged after one year. If a duplicate is applied for the prescribed procedure must be followed.
There will be two semesters and two unit tests held during the academic year. The first semester will be held in October/ November and second semester will be conducted in April for standard XI.
The performance of a pupil is judged on the progress of the student during the whole academic year and not on any single examination. Hence all examinations and tests are of equal importance. A pupil must get 35% marks in the aggregate in each subject of the two Semester Examinations and the Unit Tests, to pass the examination.
Students absent from an examination, for any reason, are neither re-examined nor can the examination be taken prior to the scheduled date. Those absent for an examination without grave reasons will be considered as having failed.
A student who uses unfair means during the test / examination is a very serious offence, even if it were only for the first time. Student will be given zero in the subject and debarred from the rest of the examination. Repetition of unfair means (copy by bringing mobile phone, manuscripts, printed matter etc.) will make the student liable for dismissal,
FOR PURPOSES OF PROMOTION, THE MARKS SECURED BY A STUDENT in each subject is important. The two semester examinations and two Unit test marks shall be added together and the average thereof shall be calculated. Students securing not less than 35% of marks in each individuaI head of passing shall be eligible of promotion to higher standard altar availing, if necessary, of the benefit of an automatic condonation of 15 marks in one or more (not more than three) heads of passing, but not exceeding ten marks in any one head of passing.
Gases of illness are settled on the basis of the term's work in consultation with the previous records. Promotions are decided at the Teacher's Council. Hence results .are final and cannot be reconsidered.
Students who make any change in the entries made in report card will be taken to task.
The College has a well-equipped Library where reference books on different subjects are made available to the students. Students are expected to make best use of the library.
The loss of a book will have to be made good by replacing or pay a fine equal to the value of the book.
It is strictly forbidden to write any remarks in a book or underline any word. If there are such in the book already. They should be brought to the notice of the librarian immediately on receiving the book, not later.
Only one book will be issued at a time. Books will not be issued during vacations.
To be always friendly with one another and respectful towards the elders, in and out of the school.
To avoid vulgarity in talk and behavior.
To accept whatever work is assigned with joy and enthusiasm.
To offer help to any unattended visitor one happens to meet in the school premises.
To stand up respectfully when any Sister, Teacher or Visitor enters or passes through any room in which you happen to be alone or with classmates.
To be courteous and sportsman-like with officials and with opposing Teams or different Houses at Co-curricular activities.
To respect liberty and rights of other pupiIs.
To respect and preserve school property and report at once to the teacher any damage or danger to it that you may observe.
To avoid dropping papers, in school premises or out of the windows and to pick up such papers when found.
To learn and observe good manners every where.
Water and electricity are precious gifts. Do not waste them.
To keep the Laboratory clean and the doors always shut.
Never omit any lesson or homework assigned.
Always revise the work done in class and get your difficulties solved.
Repeat at the end of the week, all that was learnt during the week.
Make a daily home timetable for yourself, in this way you will learn to be a student of regular habits, a most valuable asset in later life.
Realize the value of time. Do not wait tilI the approach of the Examinations. The key to success is regular and sincere hard work. Do not waste your god-given talents for want of application.
I, the undersigned, have read the rules and regulations in the College Calendar and I agree to abide by them and co-operate with the school authorities in the interest of my child.
When communicating with Principal, parents are requested to mention in their letters, the name, roll number, standard and division in which their ward is studying.
Parents are requested not to ask their ward to come away from college before the college gets over except in case of real necessity in which case permission should be obtained previously in writing.
Parents/Guardians are specially requested to notify the college of any change in their address.
Parents are informed that their ward are Iiable to be fined/detained after college hours by the Principal for any of the following reasons:
