Independence Day Celebration 2024
“Freedom is our birthright and our greatest treasure. Let’s honour it today and everyday”.
A great day and a proud moment for every Indian! Holy Cross Convent School celebrated the 78 th Independence Day of India with great patriotic fervour, zeal and zest. Everyone on the campus was geared up and enthused for the momentous occasion.
The school had been decorated with flags, tri-colour flowers and the pictures of freedom fighters, created a festive atmosphere to commemorate the day.
The celebration began with flag hoisting ceremony by the Chief Guest Mr. Kunal Patil, parent of the SSC topper of the academic year 2023-2024, Miss Akansha Patil along with the management, followed by the national Anthem to pay homage to the nation.
On this memorable day, our school organized various activities, cultural performances, inspiring speeches, patriotic songs and skits to instil a deep sense of patriotism, understand the value of our freedom and shaping a generation of informed responsible citizens.
On this auspicious occasion SSC toppers were felicitated by the management with trophies. The topper of the year Miss Akansha Patil shared her experiences to inspire the students who gathered there in the school campus.
The event concluded by the melodious singing of the National song. The programme turned out to be an inspiring event for all. The parents, especially appreciated the school management for organising such a vibrant Independence Day celebration that showcased both national pride and academic success.
